Belen Lopez Vazquez is a Full Professor at ESIC University, where she has been a faculty member since 2004. She holds a PhD in Communication from the University of the Basque Country and received two six-year research periods in 2022. Her teaching and research focus on business communication, corporate social responsibility (CSR) management, sustainability, and higher education.

In addition to teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs in English and Spanish, she has held academic positions as a Fellow at the University of Bristol (2009–2010) and an Associate Professor at Shanghai International Studies University (2013/14). She also served as International Degree Coordinator (2014–2019) and Director of the Academic Department of Communication (2008–2013) at ESIC.

Since 2019, she has been the Director of Corporate Social Responsibility and currently leads the Higher Degree in Sustainability Management at ESIC University. She is an active researcher and a member of the Brand Management and Integrated Communication research group at Complutense University of Madrid.

She also serves as the Academic Leader of the European Erasmus+ project, HG Sustainable (2022–2024), a higher education and sustainability initiative recognized as a model of best practices within the European Union.
